Bob Loffler: UAA Professor in Social & Economic Research, former Director, Division of Mining, Land and Water with DNR. Presenting on the different types of mines that are currently operating in Alaska. Different methods of extraction and dealing with tailings


Dave Chambers: Center for Science in Public Participation. Presenting on the water quality/environmental concerns that he has seen with the different types of mines and tailings storage.


Kyle Moselle: DNR Large Mine Project Manager in charge of coordinating the State of Alaska’s permitting processes for mines in Alaska. Presenting on the permitting steps for a mine, agencies involved, public involvement.


James Whitlock: Bureau of Land Management, Alaska Mining Program Lead- Acting Environmental Scientist, Anchorage District Office 


Guy Archibald: SEACC Mining and Clean Water Program Manager. Presenting on his analysis of the Environmental Impact Statement associated with mines – what do they cover, what is left out, how can a community influence this
